Water Restrictions and Drought Management

North East Water operates twenty nine separate water supply systems throughout the North East that draw water supply from a wide range of sources including groundwater, reservoirs and directly from rivers and streams. All these sources vary widely in regard to the volumes they can supply and their reliability in times of drought.
