Events

North East Water coordinates and participates in a number of regional events to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable water use and our regional water and wastewater services.

The main event celebrated during the year is National Water Week. It occurs in the thrid week of October. This year North East Water, along with our partners, are proudly holding a number of competitions, activities and events for all ages.

Our school program incorporates our partnership with NevRwaste and North East Catchment Management Authority in funding the School Environment Education Directory (SEED). Through SEED, we assist with four Student Environment Days held throughout our region, aimed mainly at Year 5 primary students.

For further information you can contact our Education Officers at education@nerwa.vic.gov.au, or by phoning (02) 6022 0580.
