Pay Online

Payments can be made securely with MasterCard or Visa. Please quote your Consumer Number. Visit www.postbillpay.com.au

POST billpay

Pay your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your Internet paper bill payment is encrypted for security and you will automatically be given a receipt number as proof of your transaction. North East Water customers have three convenient ways of paying their accounts with Australia Post POST billpay:

  • By Internet banking at www.postbillpay.com.au using Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard,) a savings or cheque account.
  • In person at any Australia Post office using Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard) a savings or cheque account.
  • By phoning 13 18 16 and using Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard), a savings or cheque account. 

Refer to your account for the North East Water Biller Code and your unique reference number located next to the POST billpay logo.

Credit Cards

Customers can pay their account by credit card at any Australia Post Office, on the Internet or over the telephone on 131 816. (Mastercard and Visa credit cards are accepted.)

Pyment by Telephone

North East Water offers a personalised credit card payment facility. Simply phone 131 816, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and have your credit card and account ready.

Payment by Mail

Please detach the bottom portion of your account and attach your cheque or money order. Make them payable to "North East Water" and mail them to:

BPAY

Contact your financial institution to pay your North East Water accounts by BPAY. To make payment, quote the North East Water Biller Code and your unique reference number located on your account. A receipt number will be issued.

Direct Debit

When you pay your North East Water account by Direct Debit you will continue to receive an account in the normal way. The information will state that the account will be paid via Direct Debit on the due date. Your bank statements can act as your receipt and you can compare them with the accounts issued. You may query your account at any time. There are two convenient ways to arrange your Direct Debit. You can choose to have your account paid in full on the due date or have an agreed amount debited from your bank account weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

Centrepay

Centrepay is a free direct bill paying service offered to customers receiving Centrelink payments. Through Centrepay you can choose to have regular money deducted from your payment. Centrelink does not charge you to transfer the money to pay your water account. To apply for Centrepay please call North East Water on 1300 361 633. "Easypay" Payment Instalments

Pay your account in regular instalments, using an "Easypay" instalment card. North East Water has developed an "Easypay" card to help customers budget for their water accounts.

"Easypay" is a deposit system that uses a plastic credit card-sized payment card. Cards can be used at any Bill Express participating newsagent, Australian Post Office or agency and deposits can be made at any time, starting from a minimum $20.00 payment. The Easypay option gives all users the chance to budget for their bills.
