Your chance to be rewarded for saving water
It’s competition time, and your chance to be rewarded for saving water.
There are currently two competitions you can enter to go into the running for a range of great prizes.
Water Saver Awards - North East Water
North East Water’s own annual Water Saver Awards are now entering their third year, and we’re expecting another healthy amount of entries.
The Water Saver Awards are a great way for us to discover the many and varied methods our customers use to conserve our precious resource. They also give you a chance to share your knowledge of water conservation, and perhaps pick up a few tips from others.
The Awards are open only to our residential customers. Your entry will be judged in one of two categories: single or multiple-person households. As part of your entry, our team will audit your property against a range of water conservation criteria and issue you with a score.
Your audit score, combined with a comparative analysis of your total water consumption, will determine your final ranking.
Please find an entry form for the Water Saver Awards here. Fill out your details and return the form to North East Water, PO Box 863, Wodonga 3689 by 5pm on Friday 10 July 2009. Good luck!
savewater! awards
The national savewater! awards are also on now. The savewater! team is Australia’s leading resource on water conservation, and is a valued partner to water corporations and councils throughout Australia.
These awards are open until 1 June 2009. They aim to recognise outstanding achievements in water conservation across nine categories, including business, education programs and product innovations.
